Commercial Water

In April 2017, the market for commercial and non-household water was deregulated in England. It has enabled users to switch suppliers and secure a more cost-effective contract for their business usage, allowing them to switch suppliers when necessary. The customer experience has dramatically increased as a result of de-regulation, as suppliers use value-added business models to work with customers and reduce their bills.

OFWAT sets the wholesale costs for the water market each April, and all water suppliers then pass these charges onto their customers. Energyex are only tendering for the retail fee which is approximately 5-15% of the total water/wastewater bill.
